good morning!  the skies are all pink and blue today, a nice switch from the ferocious cold days we've had for the past several weeks.  I am up and at 'em early- my boy had an early departure field trip to go see eagles this morning, so we were all moving at 5am.

This week has been busy! I held a mini Valentine's open house for local friends and customers and finalized plans for a spring trunk show in Oxford- I was so excited to see my work on their home page!  I started working on my backlog of requests for berry bowls, tea pots, casserole dishes, and mugs.  I knocked out half of the custom-order plates for a friend, I made several new molds for a hobnail line I've been mulling over since this time last year, especially since I've had requests for more work in celadon green.

I've also started restocking my shop with bud vase sets, cups, and today,  since I'll finally have good natural light in the studio, yarn bowls and buttons.
Thank you for your enthusiasm for my pitchers!  I will list some of the smaller ones in a few weeks.  Yesterday I pulled six that I plan to keep and will move them into my butler's pantry today.  I think that this one is my very favorite. I do love those little birds.

I hope you all have a lovely valentine's day.  Our family tradition is sushi for valentine's.  Keep the roses and chocolate- we get fishy!

See you soon!
