Hope cups

22.00

I’m bringing back my sweet little cups of kindness as a fundraiser for detained refugees at our southern border. Thrown by me on the potter’s wheel out of porcelain, these small round tumblers measure 3” tall by 3” wide. Hand stamped, trimmed, and glazed, they hold approximately 4oz of your favorite beverage (or a tiny plant, salt for your dining table, ice cream, garden flowers- anything you please). I’ve glazed these in glossy clear and a sheer flowy faded indigo glaze that is a blend of all of my current glaze colors, collected after each glazing session, saved in a bucket, and blended. It’s very flowy, and you’ll see my fingers where I held the cup during glazing, plus drips. This would have driven me crazy a few years ago, but now I see it as a sign of how our imperfect efforts can still do good.

Half of each sale will go directly to the efforts of Raices in assisting migrant families separated and detained in America.

Thank you for helping me help others.
